“Sofia is a great role model in our class when it comes to being empathetic and showing empathy towards others. She is always helping others and making sure they are okay in various situations. She also is a great problem solver and works with others to come up with good solutions. Mrs. Bohner is very proud of the positive behavior she has shown so far this school year !” – Mrs. Bohner

“Ava has started off 2nd grade with a positive attitude, great focus, and with a big heart. She has a keen sense of awareness for others’ emotions and will always help that person out. Ava comes prepared to school each day and pays close attention to directions so she can follow them. She is a leader in the classroom and a wonderful model to look up to. “Olivia is a very sweet and kind student. She always offers to help her friends and makes them feel comforted when they are feeling sad. “Lea has been chosen for SOTM because she is such empathic classmate to her peers. She is helpful to those in need and really puts herself in her friends shoes to understand how they are feeling about something. She works hard to be a “Bucket Filler” and cares about being kind and respectful.” – Mrs. Carasso

“Bella was chosen to receive the award for empathy because she was such a good friend on the first few days of school. She noticed that one of her friends was a little upset. Bella took the time to talk to her friend and make them feel better. She also gave them a pat on the back and a thumbs up when she realized that they weren’t upset anymore. I am so proud of Bella for being such a good friend!” – Mrs. Ianiero

“Patrick is highly motivated to learn. He always asks great questions and tries his best when completing his work. He is also a great friend to his classmates! Great job Patrick!” – Ms. Newton

Preschool

“Hannah has done a wonderful job in Preschool. She is very helpful and is always there for her friends in the class. She cares about her friends a lot! Keep up the great work, Hannah!” – Ms. Leinbach

Riley C.
